Within September 10-13 2012 period, MCA facilitated work of filming team from Sweden. The filming team was invited to Moldova by Church of Sweden, co funding MCA program on Domestic Violence Prevention. Filming team visited Ciocirlia center in Drochia town, secondary school in Tarigrad village-program beneficiaries and MCA implementing partners. The information collected will then be assembled in a documentary film about children and the problems faced by them, and will be used within National Swedish awareness raising campaign.
Within June 18-28, 2012 period about 100 youngsters participated at Volunteer summer school organized by Moldova Christian Aid in partnership with Diocese of Edinet and Briceni under "Empowering Christian Youth to deliver and promote Home care services for elderly people" Program, implemented with financial support from BFW (Germany). The event was hosted by "Adormirea Maicii Domnului" Orthodox Convent from Calaraseuca village.
During the Volunteer summer school, youngsters were trained in homecare services delivery, PR and communication, time management. They enjoyed peer communication, teambuilding exercises and practical photography sessions. Participants liked beautiful forest, rocks and watterfalls neighboring Convent building and actively participated in outdoor activities.
Skills developed within summer school will help young volunteers in further development of program activities; elaboration of the PR materials, advertising of social event organized by the parishes and community awareness campaigns.

Within July 25-31 and August 1-8 2012 period, "Veritas" NGO is organizing two Summer School sessions for 100 youngsters from Gagauz region.
Children enjoy the activities conducted, spending their vacation with great use. They communicate with their peers, learn through games and acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The topics discussed within the Summer School include:"Freedom of choice","Violence-Legal and practical matters"," Interpersonal relationships: trust, efficient communication, faith, friendship and love.
The organization of the Summer School is supervised by MCA staff and is sponsored by International Partners: ICCO and KIA, the Netherlands.
Within July 7-15, 2012 period, MCA staff of "Empowering Christian youth to deliver and promote home care services for the elderly in Moldova" program conducted several monitoring visits to project local partners from the following communities: Pociumbauti, Varatec, Ruseni, Rotunda, Alexandreni, Edinet, Hincauti, Taul, Donduseni and Scaieni.
The purpose of the visits was to monitor the activities implemented so far and provide consultancy services upon the need. Program staff met all the young volunteers and together visited program beneficiaries. Both, the youngsters and the elderly people were happy to communicate and collaborate in order to reach project objective and purpose.
